Logic maker Logic Group said it has purchased the U.S. company of the same name to become the company’s new leader in data visualization and analytics.
Logic’s logo will be on the company website, a logo maker said on Twitter.
The deal is valued at $8 billion.
The Logics group will be headquartered in San Francisco, according to the announcement on Twitter by the company.
The company’s existing U.K. and Australian operations will also be sold.
The announcement was accompanied by a picture of a logo, which was captioned with a message: “This is the logo maker’s brand and the future of Logics.”
The logo maker logo is based on the logos of the companies whose logos are on the Logics logo, the company said.
The logo creator said in its announcement that it plans to build on the technology that powers its products, which will include data visualization, search and analytics and mobile applications.
The company, which employs around 50 people, said it is seeking to develop new technologies to drive its products’ growth and offer more value to customers.
The deal will allow Logics to take on new revenue streams, including a software company that uses its technology, it said.
The Logics-branded logo will also have an important role in the company as it plans for future product development, it added.
Logic said the transaction is valued based on current revenue, and said it plans on using some of the money to accelerate the expansion of its global operations.
