I know yule is a pretty special holiday, but I’m not a big fan of Christmas trees, and I don’t like to see them in the living room or at my desk.
This year, I thought I’d try something different, and that’s to make an adorable yule tree.
I’ll be honest, this wasn’t easy.
First, I had to figure out what kind of wood I needed, and then I had a few ideas on how to attach the branches.
The easiest way to make one is to cut it yourself, but that’s actually pretty difficult.
I’ve had several friends tell me that the easiest way is to use a saw.
It’s simple, but it’s not exactly inexpensive, and you’ll want to make sure that you get the right wood for the size of the tree.
So, let’s get started!
Here are my two tips for making a yuletide wreath: 1.
Measure the tree length.
This will give you the amount of wood needed to attach it.
For the large tree, you’ll need about 5 feet of 1/4-inch thick plywood, and about 10 feet of 3/4 inch plywood.
Here’s how to make this yuletite tree.
Measure out the length of the wood.
The longer the wood, the more likely it is to bend when you cut it.
Measure it on the length scale of 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, 4 feet, and 5 feet.
Measure your branch length.
If you’re using a saw, the longer the tree branch, the less likely it will bend when it’s cut.
Cut the wood piecewise.
Start by cutting one of the ends of the branch and attaching it with a hook or string.
Then cut another piece of wood that’s the same length.
Now, cut the remaining end of the longer branch, attach it with the hook or knot, and cut the other end of that branch.
Once you have all of the pieces, attach the remaining wood piece to the smaller branch.
For a larger tree, make sure you’re attaching each piece with a piece of 6-inch wood.
Attach the other piece.
Next, attach your larger tree to the shorter piece, and make sure the ends aren’t too long.
Attaching the end.
You want to attach your smaller tree to a piece that’s 2 feet (or less) shorter than the length that you just attached the smaller tree.
This way, the smaller piece will be more stable when you attach the larger piece to it.
If there are two pieces, you want to secure one of them with a knot.
Tie the ends together.
If the shorter tree is too long, you may want to add another piece to hold it up.
If you’ve already made your yuletile tree, now is the time to put it to use!
I used my new yuletotee wreath to decorate my bedroom with a new addition to my family.
Thank you for reading this tutorial, I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
